On Friday night we celebrated a friend's birthday in great form. We started with 1/2 litre beers at Heritage Belgium Beer Cafe which were served in massive glasses (obviously) and made me look like a midget, all I needed was an over-sized chair to sit on and you could have been forgiven for thinking you were watching Alice in Wonderland.
The party then continued at The Argyle in The Rocks were the DJs play with live musicians. Last night Tikki Tembo played with Natalie Conway who worked the microphone like you wouldn't believe, this girl has amazing vocal talent that kept me singing on the dance floor all night to good oldies like "I want to dance with somebody" to great new songs like Rihanna's "S&M". The saxophone added to the sexy sultry tones and Mark Matthews can play.
Dancing the night away with the girls (and occasionally the boys) was just what the doctor ordered.
